چکیده

Aim: This study was fulfilled to evaluate the flexural strength, micro-hardness, and release of two fluoride ions bioactive restorative materials (Cention N Activa Bioactive), a resin modified glass ionomer (Fuji II LC), composite (Filtek z250). Methods: Forty samples from four (Activa Bioactive, Fuji LC, Cention N, Filtek Z250) were provided according current standards ISO 4049/2000 guide lines. Subsequently, stored for 24 hours 6 months in artificial saliva, successively, strength micro-hardness measured. For each studied groups pH decreased 6.8 4 storage solution. The rate changes ion measured after three different periods hours, 48 distilled water, previous studies’ method. Two-way ANOVA, One-way Tukey HSD Pair wise comparisons, independent t-tests used analyze data (α= 0.05). Results: highest surface also month observed N(p<0.001).Flexural all significantly lower than hours(p<0.001). accumulative amount released RMGI, six-month period water considerably higher (p<0.001) storage. with increasing acidity environment (from 4) LC (p<0.05). Conclusion: RMGI increased against Bioactive,Cention Z250 composite. Storage saliva leads significant reduction micro hardness. behavior these materials, which are an acidic environment, dependent on type material.

Relative Microhardness and Flexural Strength of Different Bulk Fill Resin Composite Restorative Materials

Aim: to find out if there is a significant difference in the curing efficiency at the claimed 4 mm depth and in the mechanical properties between the tested pasteform bulk fill resin composite materials. Materials and Methods: Three paste-consistency bulk-fill resin composites were used in this study (Filtek bulk fill3M; X-trafilVoco; and SonicFill bulk-fillKerr). For the microhardness testing,...
